Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Lead Engineer - Plants in Ludvika, Sweden to coordinate global teams and drive technical solutions for onshore and offshore HVDC converter stations. You will lead multidisciplinary design activities, manage interfaces, and ensure alignment with customer requirements and project goals.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years in leadership of technical teams, and deep HVDC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in relevant field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with team leadership.
• Experience in HVDC, substations, or large energy projects.
• Strong technical understanding of HVDC technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Plants and Civil engineering and their interfaces.
• Coordinate global teams and interfaces with customers and partners.
• Lead engineering activities in tenders and projects.
• Manage technical risks and ensure compliance with quality and safety processes.
• Represent Plants in meetings, reviews and with customers.
