Job summary

Saipem in Stockholm is seeking an experienced HSE Officer (Deputy of HSEM) to drive on-site safety compliance across projects. You will liaise with workforce, supervisors, and subcontractors while reporting to the upper HSEM referent. Expect leadership of HSE teams on site when required.

The role focuses on ensuring Life Saving Rules, RAMS/JSA adoption, and proactive safety culture in a challenging industrial environment. January 2027 start in Stockholm present a long-term contractor engagement.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience as HSE officer or similar in major industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Swedish and English language skills required.
• Nebosh, ISO 14000 and ISO 14001 certifications.
• Heta Aberten mandatory for hot work activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the implementation of HSE procedures and Life Saving Rules across all operational sites and construction phases.
• Conduct internal HSE inspections and workplace audits to verify active compliance on site.
• Monitor the Permit to Work system and ensure correct PPE usage.
• Ensure compliance with safety risk assessments and RAMS/JSA methodology.
• Promote safe techniques for construction planning and safety control.
• Control compliance of equipment and machinery on site.
• Assist in accident investigations, analyze HSE events, and propose corrective measures.
• Prepare and administer HSE KPIs and ensure reporting per company procedures.
• Monitor control measures for hazardous materials and environmental aspects on site.
