Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is seeking an HIL Development Engineer in Sweden to design, implement, and maintain HIL test rigs for vehicle validation.

The role focuses on integrating ECUs, sensors, and actuators, and building robust real-time test environments for subsystem and whole-vehicle testing. You will work with CAN/CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, and tools like dSPACE, CANoe, and INCA to identify root causes, optimize models, and support system readiness.

Qualifications

• Design, development, commissioning, and maintenance of HIL test rigs.
• Proficient integration of ECUs, I/O, sensors, actuators.
• Strong understanding of HIL architecture and interface management.
• Experience with real-time test environments for vehicle validation.
• Knowledge of CAN networks and automotive Ethernet.
• Hands-on debugging across hardware, software, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Daily operation and monitoring of HIL benches.
• Software flashing, configuration management, and release deployment.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, model, and communication issues.
• Test environment health monitoring and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with dev, validation, and integration teams for readiness.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
