Job summary

Astek Sweden is seeking a senior system engineer to drive features from requirements to release in Traction Voltage, Low Voltage and Thermal Management domains. You will lead system engineering, shape technical roadmaps, and collaborate across a global multi-site organization to ensure quality and release readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in system engineering or automotive MBSE.
• University degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong knowledge in electromobility, powertrain, thermal management, control theory, mechatronics or diagnostics.
• Proficient in Matlab/Simulink with model-based development and C code generation (Embedded Coder).
• Experience with requirement management, software design, implementation, testing and verification.
• Ability to document technical work clearly.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to network across multiple sites.
• Ownership of quality and release readiness.

Job description

In this role, you will work in a team covering Traction Voltage System (TVS), Low Voltage System (LVS) and Thermal Management, and the team also owns communication and signal gatewaying between software components and nodes across the vehicle. As a senior, you drive features from requirements to release, lead system engineering in the team and shape technical roadmaps.

Responsibilities

We believe you have experience with

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• University degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong knowledge in at least one relevant domain, e.g. Electromobility, Powertrain Control, Thermal Management, Control Theory, Mechatronics or Diagnostics.
• Proven experience with Matlab and Simulink, including model-based development and C code generation using built-in toolboxes (e.g. Embedded Coder).
• Solid experience in functional development: requirement management, software design, implementation, testing and verification.
• Ability to document technical work clearly.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build a network in a large, global, multi-site organization.
• Ownership of quality and release readiness.
