Job summary

Astek is seeking a Test Engineer to support testing and validation of automotive systems across environments such as vehicles, rigs, and simulations. You will collaborate with developers, system engineers, and stakeholders to identify issues, refine test strategies, and contribute to reliable, high-performing solutions.

The role combines manual and automated testing, requires strong communication, and may require a valid driver’s license.

About the role:

In this role, you will work with testing and validation of automotive systems, ensuring functionality, performance, and quality. Depending on the assignment, your work may include both manual and automated testing in different environments, such as vehicles, rigs, or simulation setups. You will collaborate with developers, system engineers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, improve test strategies, and contribute to reliable and high-performing solutions. As this is a broad role, responsibilities may vary based on project needs and your experience.

We believe you have experience with:

• Testing within the automotive industry
• Manual and/or automated testing
• Writing and executing test cases
• Debugging and analyzing system behavior
• Working with test tools and frameworks
• Basic understanding of software development or embedded systems
• Collaborating in cross-functional teams
• Communicating findings in a clear and structured way

A valid driver’s license (B) is considered a plus.
