Astek Sweden is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead international delivery projects from concept to customer delivery. You will oversee technical coordination, project economics, and stakeholder engagement across global customers, with opportunities for professional growth.

The role requires strong budget management, contract understanding, and fluency in English and Swedish, with travel within Sweden and Europe as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
• Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and project efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project processes and methodologies.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and take on the exciting challenge of managing complex delivery projects for our international customers worldwide. In this role, you will lead projects from initial concept through customer delivery, managing both technical coordination and project economics. Qualifications

• Project management experience with technical background in engineering, design or gas turbine knowledge
• Understanding of complex project contracts and international customer requirements
• Proven ability to manage project budgets and track financial performance
• Communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple interfaces
• Fluency in both English and Swedish (written and spoken)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Structured, solution-oriented, and goal-focused approach to work
• Interpersonal skills and interest in developing customer relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams responsible for delivery to global customers

Meritorious

• Previous experience managing complex, international engineering projects
• Knowledge of supply chain coordination and vendor management
• Experience working with classification societies or regulatory requirements
• Background in proposal development and customer bid management
• Familiarity with cost estimation and earned value management
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)

Other

• Travel within Sweden and Europe required as project demands
• Some of our clients require you to undergo and be approved according to current security regulations
