Job summary

VOI is seeking a Senior Fleet Operations Manager to lead fleet management, in-field and warehouse teams, ensuring maintenance, availability, and orderliness of the regional vehicle fleet. You will work with local and central stakeholders to maximise fleet utility at the lowest cost and contribute to operational excellence and rider experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in engineering, business, or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian (written and spoken).
• 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, production, consulting or similar.
• Experience managing a large team.
• Experience managing a budget.
• Experience working cross-functionally with other teams to achieve goals.
• Experience using AI in a role-specific context to improve output quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fleet operations day-to-day across locations, with managers responsible for sites.
• Implement and monitor Workforce Management practices for staffing flexibility.
• Oversee 3PL lifecycle, performance tracking, and relationships with external providers.
• Manage fleet and assets including maintenance, inventory, and battery management.
• Lead people development, performance reviews, and succession planning.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring KPIs and rolling out efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee warehouse and facility operations, safety, and compliance.
• Collaborate on budgeting and forecast workforce and operations planning.
