Job summary

Polestar, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, seeks a Group Category Manager – Digital to lead category strategies across the digital procurement landscape. The role sits in the HQ with a hybrid model for collaboration and focused work. You will drive supplier negotiations, transformation and value creation within a global context.

The ideal candidate brings a master’s degree, 10+ years of experience including leadership, and a track record in digital categories and strategic sourcing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience with at least 3 years of people leadership.
• Extensive experience in category management, procurement, strategic sourcing and negotiations.
• Experience in digital procurement categories – digital hardware, software licensing and digital services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category roadmaps and sourcing strategies.
• Drive category performance through cost optimisation and strategic negotiations.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and align partners around common goals.
• Lead and develop procurement professionals and transform procurement into a strategic value partner.
• Provide insights to senior leadership and drive synergies with external partners.
