Job summary

Microsoft Sweden 1172 AB seeks a Senior Data Center IT Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support for Secure Access Workstations, laptops, servers, and AV systems across Microsoft datacentres. You will manage device lifecycles, assist with deployments, and help uphold security standards.

The role involves onboarding new staff, maintaining asset inventory, and collaborating with datacentre teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supporting IT equipment, infrastructure, or related environments.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for SAWs, laptops, servers, mobile devices, and conference room AV systems.
• Onboard new employees by provisioning and configuring devices.
• Manage repairs, replacements and warranty/RMA processes while ensuring security standards.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment including receiving, redeploying, and decommissioning assets.
• Assist with server deployments, rack-and-stack, cabling, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Support Windows Server environments and other datacentre technologies.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and ensure compliance with security policies.
