Job summary

Seco Tools LLC in Fagersta, Sweden is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to translate business needs into scalable data and reporting solutions. You will connect stakeholders with Databricks pipelines and Power BI to drive data-driven decisions.

You will design Kimball-based star schemas, implement Medallion architecture, and build robust dashboards that provide actionable insights while ensuring data quality and governance across the analytics landscape.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Databricks and Power BI.
• Strong expertise in data modelling, Kimball-based star schemas, DAX and report development.
• Hands-on experience developing data pipelines with Python, notebooks and SQL.
• Solid understanding of Medallion architecture and scalable data design.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical implementations.
• Experience with Tabular Editor 3, including advanced measure design, calculation groups and model.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain Databricks data pipelines and transformations based on Medallion architecture.
• Build scalable Power BI and Tabular semantic models using star schema design and Kimball methodologies.
• Develop clear, user-focused Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
• Maintain data quality, integrity, security and performance throughout the analytics lifecycle.
• Promote standardization, reusability and continuous improvement across analytics solutions.
