AWS EMEA SARL (Sweden Branch) is seeking a Cloud Operations Architect to serve as the principal technical advisor for customers across industries. You will advise on solutions, drive operational excellence, and collaborate with Solutions Architects, Professional Services and Sales to optimize cloud workloads.

This role emphasizes a customer-obsessed mindset, strong technical acumen, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical AWS architectures for diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical engineering experience (software, systems, security, DevOps).
• 3+ years of experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (design, implementation, or consulting).
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (solutions architect, TAM, consultant, or services).
• Degree in CS, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise on solutions and provide technical guidance to customers.
• Ensure AWS environments remain operational while reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop trusting relationships by understanding business needs and technical challenges.
• Lead technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services, and Sales.
• Proactively identify opportunities to add value for customers.
• Provide detailed reviews of service events, metrics, and pre-launch planning.
• Help migrate customer workloads to the cloud with best practices.
