Job summary

Entr, the consultancy arm of Aker Solutions, seeks a Specialist CFD Engineer to join the Technical Safety & Analysis team in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will perform CFD simulations across hydrodynamics, aquaculture, CCUS and more, lead CFD studies, and work within a multidisciplinary team.

We value a Master’s in engineering or physics, 5+ years CFD experience, and strong English skills; Swedish/Norwegian language and AI tools are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, physics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ CFD experience in industrial applications.
• Experience with offshore wind, aquaculture, CCUS, oil & gas, hydrogen advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Swedish/Norwegian language skills advantageous.
• Ability to manage projects and engage with clients to create opportunities.
• Experience with StarCCM+ or similar CFD tools.
• Basic programming and familiarity with AI tools (Python, Java, VBA, Power BI) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFD simulations in hydrodynamics, aquaculture, CCUS and related areas.
• Lead CFD studies and act as project manager for smaller studies.
• Work within a multidisciplinary Entr/Aker Solutions team or directly for clients.
• Identify opportunities and contribute to tenders and business development.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to CFD service development.
