Job summary

Justera Group is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join a backend team focused on the Content Catalog domain. You will contribute to building backend services and APIs for content management, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cross-platform access.

You will own defined projects, collaborate with product managers and engineers, and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and operating backend services in production at scale.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, Go or similar back-end languages.
• Solid understanding of API design and backward compatibility.
• Experience with data modelling and querying at scale.
• Familiarity with system integrations and distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to define project scope and plans.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and data flows.
• Communicate technical decisions and risks to stakeholders.
• Drive migrations, integrations and backend improvements across teams.
• Ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Document solutions and share knowledge for long-term ownership.
