SCRL is a purpose-built social media design platform trusted by millions of creators worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to own features end-to-end within a dynamic product team, collaborating with product, design, and other engineers from ideation to release and iteration.

You will work on Android apps with a strong focus on architecture, best practices, and measurable impact, leveraging Jetpack Compose, Gradle, ExoPlayer, and more to deliver high-quality experiences.

Qualifications

• Extensive Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Experience delivering consumer apps with large user bases.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Ability to communicate concepts and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality features, owning development from planning to delivery.
• Collaborate with product/design/engineering to plan and ensure high-quality results.
• Own features end-to-end from scope to measurement and iteration.
• Help evolve Android architecture and development practices across the codebase.
• Stay up-to-date with Android ecosystem developments.
