Job summary

SCRL is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to shape the next generation of our photo and video editing platform. You will work on real-time image and video processing, complex multi-touch interactions, and high-performance rendering pipelines.

Join a team building a product used by millions, with ownership across features from planning to delivery. You’ll collaborate with design and engineering to create fluid, responsive UI and maintainable code in a central Stockholm office.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in iOS development with Swift.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures and algorithms.
• Experience building complex, interactive, gesture-driven interfaces.
• Deep understanding of UIKit, Core Animation, and iOS rendering pipeline.
• Ability to optimize performance and rendering across devices.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve SCRL's iOS app, focusing on image/video processing and real-time rendering.
• Design and implement advanced gesture-driven interactions; drag, resize, transform.
• Push performance: optimize rendering, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with design to ensure polished interactions, animations, and transitions.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews.
