Nordea is seeking a Senior AI Specialist to own reliable, secure AI-enabled platforms and production workflows. You will guide teams in adopting AI responsibly, while shaping solution choices and building scalable AI infrastructure.

The role emphasizes 24/7 on-call readiness and collaboration with global teams. You will work within the SRE Operations team to modernize legacy platforms toward container-based architectures using Mirantis Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring performance and compliance

Qualifications

• 5 years of IT operations, site reliability engineering, platform engineering or cloud infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on DevOps and operations expertise across support, maintenance, deployment, automation and platform administration.
• Experience with cloud operations in Google Cloud; knowledge of AWS or Azure is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting with logs, metrics and traces across production environments.
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Git-based repository management.
• Experience designing or operating AI-enabled solutions and AI workflows.

Responsabilités

• Take technical ownership of reliable, secure and scalable cloud and AI-enabled services.
• Define and improve observability, monitoring, SLOs and incident response, focusing on Google Cloud.
• Design and implement AI-enabled environments, including agentic AI workflows and RAG techniques.
• Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions, identifying dependencies and risks.
• Provide expert guidance to users and engineering teams, resolve complex platform issues.
• Own development, test and production platforms ensuring stability and maintainability.
• Drive decisions based on evidence and align with security and governance requirements.
• Collaborate across Nordea teams globally to share knowledge.
