Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Scientist to join our Forward Deployed AI team. You will design and scale AI solutions, embedding with business units to deliver practical, ethical, and scalable models across the bank.

Based in a hybrid model with flexibility across Nordic and Central Europe locations, you will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders to translate complex problems into deployable AI services while maintaining governance and data

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale transformative AI applications from concept to production to create technology that makes a real impact.
• Translate ambiguous, open-ended business problems into well-defined machine learning problem statements in close collaboration with engineers and product teams.
• Provide input to the full modeling lifecycle: problem framing, hypothesis formulation, model selection, experimentation, evaluation and iteration.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and agentic solutions for various business applications.
• Explore emerging AI methods; share insights and build proofs of concept applicable to Nordea’s use cases.
