Job summary

Nordea is seeking an Expert AI Specialist/SRE to own reliable, secure, scalable cloud and AI-enabled services. You will shape solution choices, build production-grade AI infrastructure, and guide teams to adopt AI responsibly, in line with Nordea standards.

The role is full-time with hybrid work up to 40% remote, in a Nordic setting with multiple city options. You will coordinate with product owners, cybersecurity, data governance and cloud teams to ensure compliant, production-ready solutions,

Qualifications

7+ years in IT operations, SRE, platform engineering or cloud infra
Experience with cloud operations in Google Cloud; AWS/Azure a plus
Strong Linux/Unix, debugging and incident handling skills

Responsibilities

Take ownership of reliable, secure and scalable cloud and AI-enabled services
Define observability, monitoring, SLOs, and incident response
Design AI-enabled environments and end-to-end AI workflows
Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions
Guide users and engineering teams on platform adoption and best practices
Own the lifecycle of development, test and production platforms
Drive decisions balancing architecture, security, governance and maintainability
Mentor teammates and raise engineering quality across the team
