Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Lead to guide technical development and migration projects. You will mentor ABAP developers, design complex programs, and ensure best practices and performance across ECC to S/4HANA migrations.

Required expertise includes ABAP OO, CDS views, OData, Fiori, RAP, SAP BTP, and Agile delivery. Strong collaboration with functional teams and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with prior experience in a lead role.
• Deep expertise in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, CDS Views, OData services, SAP Fiori, and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA, including migration, conversion, or implementation projects.
• Experience in core modules such as SD, MM, FI, and CO.
• Experience with SAP RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).
• Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.
• Design & Development: Design, code, and implement complex custom programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms (Adobe Forms), and workflows.
• S/4HANA Migration: Drive end-to-end ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, including code remediation, CDS view creation, and OData service implementation.
• Collaboration & Support: Partner with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot system issues.
• Optimization: Optimize ABAP code for performance within the SAP HANA database environment.
