Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to register and follow up on customer orders in accordance with company processes. The role covers global orders, from entry in SAP to invoicing, with collaboration across multiple functions to ensure on-time deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a related role, SAP S/4HANA experience, and strong English language skills. Swedish language is a plus. Hybrid work options are available in Sweden.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (Order Management, Sales Support, Purchasing, Logistics or Finance).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is required.
• Fluency in English is required; Swedish is an advantage.
• Education in Finance or Business Administration is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for registering and following up on customer orders in accordance with Hitachi Energy's processes, policies, and guidelines.

Our customers are located across the globe, making it essential to understand and stay up to date with country-specific requirements, regulations, and customer agreements. The scope of the role ranges from managing smaller spare parts orders to handling larger and more complex orders involving both products and services.

This position offers great variety and the opportunity to work closely with customers and colleagues across multiple functions, ensuring smooth order execution and high customer satisfaction.

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service and smooth order execution from order entry to final invoicing.

• Drive and coordinate the order management process using SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure high-quality and accurate order handling in line with customer agreements and internal requirements.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to secure on‑time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Manage purchasing activities and proactively monitor material deliveries to support successful project execution.

Your background

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Order Management, Sales Support, Purchasing, Logistics, or Finance.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA is required.
• Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.
• An educational background in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships and effectively collaborate with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders across the organization.
• A proactive and structured approach, with a natural sense of ownership and accountability.
• Curiosity, flexibility, and a strong drive for continuous development, with a willingness to embrace new challenges, broaden skills, and contribute to improvements.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office is considered an advantage.
