Job summary

NielsenIQ is seeking a customer-focused Sales Executive to join the Nordic FMCG team. You will drive sales of global data to Nordic clients, unlocking value through data-driven insights and consultancy in export markets or through distributors.

Based in Copenhagen, Oslo, or Stockholm, you will work with leading brands to build long-term partnerships and deliver measurable results. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams globally, delivering tailored solutions and driving revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s in Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Proven sales experience with strong commercial and relationship management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) preferred.
  • Ability to connect with potential clients and build networks among clients and prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic Nordic clients.
  • Build strong client relationships and understand their business needs.
  • Target new clients via multiple channels and grow the existing portfolio.
  • Lead end-to-end sales processes from feasibility to final agreement in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored data-driven solutions.
  • Drive client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.

About The Role

NIQ/GFKare looking for a customer-focused and analyticalSales Executiveto join ourNordic FMCGteam, based in Copenhagen,Osloor Stockholm. In this role, you will drive sales of global data to our Nordic clients, helping them unlock value through data-driven insights and consultancy in export markets or through distributors. You will work with some of the most innovative brands in the FMCG, building long-termpartnershipsand driving client satisfaction.

This is a commercially driven role where you will coordinate with cross-functional teams across the globe, delivering impactful solutions and measurable results.You’llbe part of a dynamic, international environment that values integrity, responsibility, and passion.

Focused on accelerating organic growth,therolegenerates revenue opportunities by contactingexisting clients,leadsandprospects.

Your Responsibilities
  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic clients in the Nordic region
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and challenges
  • Target new clients via different channels and grow the business within the existing client portfolio, prioritize client visits based on sales potential and build a sustainable externalnetwork;
  • Createcompellingclient proposalsandlead clientnegotiation.Execute end-to-end sales process from feasibility analysisto final agreementin our CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Drive client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement and problem-solving
  • Monitor progress against revenue target with tenacity and course correct quickly where necessary by making maximum use of the available CRMtools.

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired;master’s degree inBusiness orMarketing, preferred
  • Proven sales experience, with strong commercial and relationship managementskills
  • Easy connecting with (potential) clients and ability to build andmaintainown network among assigned clients &prospects
  • Both short-term and long-term resultsoriented
  • A few years of relevantSalesexperience in FMCG
  • Fluent in one Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) preferable
  • Strongproficiencyin English (written and oral)

What We Offer
  • 711,000 - 830,000 SEKAnnuallyplus a target Sales Incentive Plan representing approximately 30% of on-target total cash compensation. SIP is variable, non-guaranteed, and subject to NIQ’s applicable plan terms, role eligibility, performance, and plan achievement.
  • Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.
  • In addition, a variable remuneration, for example in the form of a performanceor sales related bonus, will be granted for this position.
