Job summary

Stena Line is seeking a commercially driven and inspirational leader to own the regional Onboard Sales & Services business, with full P&L responsibility and a strong focus on revenue growth, profitability, customer experience, and operational excellence.

You will oversee commercial performance across onboard operations, ensuring retail, food & beverage, and service concepts deliver outstanding experiences while maximizing sales.

Qualifications

  • Proven senior management experience within sales-driven service environments (retail, food & beverage, hospitality, or travel).
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth, profitability, and commercial transformation.
  • Experience leading managers and working in complex operational environments.
  • High commercial and financial acumen with the ability to turn data into action.
  • Excellent communicator and influencer, able to align stakeholders around clear commercial goals.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

  • Full P&L ownership for the regional Onboard Sales & Service (OSS) business.
  • Set and deliver budgets and commercial targets.
  • Drive revenue growth (revenue per passenger, conversion, basket value, yield).
  • Build and lead a strong sales-driven culture with clear targets and accountability.
  • Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions.
  • Ensure consistent execution of OSS concepts in line with standards.
  • Balance commercial performance and customer satisfaction (CSS/NPS).
  • Collaborate with Group OSS and Marketing to strengthen promotion and delivery.
  • Support product and concept development.
  • Optimize staffing and resource allocation to maximize sales impact and efficiency.
  • Drive operational performance across vessels.
  • Ensure cost control and compliance with safety and company policies.
  • Lead and develop the regional OSS management team.
  • Set targets and follow up through performance management.
  • Build commercial capabilities and ensure talent development.
  • Lead commercial input to refurbishments and onboard concepts.
  • Implement and scale best practices across the region.

Job description

We are looking for a commercially driven and inspirational leader to take full ownership of Stena Line´s regional Onboard Sales & Services business. This is a key leadership role with full P&L responsibility and a strong focus on driving revenue growth, profitability, customer experience, and operational excellence.

In this role, you will lead the commercial performance across the region’s onboard operations, ensuring that our retail, food & beverage, and service concepts deliver outstanding customer experiences while maximizing sales and profitability.
