Job summary

Amazon Data Services Sweden AB is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Cluster Manager to lead a large data center cluster in Sweden. You will supervise Facility Managers, Chief Engineers, and Technicians, ensuring 100% uptime while coordinating with global teams.

You will drive operational excellence, manage budgets, and develop a scalable organizational structure to meet growth. Fluency in English is essential; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams.
• 4+ years as a manager of managers OR 7+ years in mission-critical facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of data center facilities (generators, chillers, UPS, cooling, electrical systems).
• English fluency to communicate with global teams.
• EU driving license.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and develop the operations management team including Facility Managers and Engineers.
• Ensure operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems; maintain 100% uptime.
• Establish performance benchmarks and report on critical facility operations.
• Build sustainable organizational structure and recruiting strategy.
• Forecast staffing needs with cross-functional teams; manage vendor relationships.
• Lead incident response, safety, and root cause analysis.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX for all data centers under your responsibility.
• Run regular data center meetings and share availability outcomes.
• Collaborate with global teams to implement initiatives locally in Sweden.
