Job summary

H&M Group is seeking an Area Manager to drive sales and create an excellent customer experience across 21 stores in Area South. You will lead teams, develop leaders, and ensure performance management aligns with financial targets and company values.

The role requires frequent travel within the local market and a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The position is temporary for 12 months, based in our Malmö Office, and reports to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Requirements include leading large teams across multiple stores and driving sales and customer experience.
• Experience in retail operations, inventory management, visual merchandising, store layout, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and implement strategies to deliver customer-first shopping in area stores.
• Ensure high-performing teams and support their development to drive profitable growth.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and take actions to increase profit.
• Lead succession planning and leadership development for Store Managers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, administration, and legal procedures.
• Promote feedback and distance leadership to strengthen company culture.
• Collaborate with Store Management Teams, Area Visual and Sales Market teams to provide insights.
