You will serve as the technical interface between Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and our internal and external suppliers.

This is a newly established role, created to further strengthen our supplier qualification and technical development efforts across the supply chain. You will be part of a cross-functional team consisting of specialists from Compressor, Turbine, Combustion, Materials Laboratory, Procurement, and Quality. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will act as the coordinating point for the R&D team, ensuring that incoming supplier qualification and development activities are structured, prioritized, and allocated to the engineers in collaboration with the respective line managers.

You will play a leading role in planning, coordinating, and driving the team's work forward, creating alignment across functions and ensuring efficient execution of activities.

At the same time, you will be organizationally affiliated with one of our component departments, providing a strong technical foundation and opportunities to contribute specialist expertise within your area.

The position offers a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise, supplier development, cross-functional coordination, and strategic influence on our future products and supplier network.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Represent the R&D organization in the qualification and development of new and existing suppliers, ensuring that technical requirements, drawings, specifications, and process requirements are understood and implemented by our manufacturers.

  • You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and industrial quality requirements.
  • You have experience working in a technical role related to manufacturing, quality, engineering, or supplier development.
  • You have experience coordinating cross-functional activities and stakeholders, preferably in a complex technical environment.
  • You are analytical and structured, with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions while managing multiple priorities.
  • You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in supplier development, welding, machining, casting, or other manufacturing processes is considered an advantage.

We Believe You Are

A person who combines strong technical expertise with a genuine interest in collaboration, coordination, and problem-solving. You thrive at the intersection of engineering, quality, procurement, and business, and are motivated by developing both suppliers and ways of working to ensure high-quality products.

You are a natural coordinator who creates structure and brings people together around common goals. You feel comfortable leading cross-functional activities, balancing technical requirements with available resources, and driving progress through strong communication and collaboration rather than formal authority.

You are confident in representing the engineering organization and are driven to create long-term, sustainable solutions together with colleagues and suppliers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
