Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead medium to large projects from concept to validation. You will guide a multicultural, agile team, blending agile and traditional methods to meet milestones, manage risks, and deliver innovative energy solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders across cultures and time zones, driving continual improvement and ensuring high-performance delivery.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Engineering with mechanical background preferred.
• Experience or willingness to learn Siemens Energy R&D Project Management.
• Knowledge of gas turbine technology is advantageous.
• PM certification (PMP/IPMA/PM@Siemens) is helpful.
• Proficient with Office 365 and project management software.

• Balance scope, time, cost, and quality to achieve outcomes.

What You Bring

• Knowledge and experience in Siemens Energy R&D Project Management, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Knowledge and experience about gas turbine technology.
• MSc or BSc in Engineering; a background in mechanical engineering is a big advantage.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Structured, Solution-oriented, flexible, and driven to achieve project targets.
• Good English language skills; Swedish is a plus.
• Project management certification (PMP, IPMA, PM@Siemens) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and project management software such as MSP, Planview, or Primavera.
