Job summary

Sandvik Coromant, a technology leader in metal cutting, seeks an experienced R&D leader to drive indexable tools, solid round tools and cutting tool grades from concept to launch readiness. You will join the new R&D leadership team reporting to the VP R&D and help shape a faster, more customer‑focused organisation across sites.

The role requires senior leadership in industrial R&D, strategic thinking, people development and global stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in industrial R&D or product development.
• Experience leading large technical teams and complex portfolios.
• Experience bringing products to market with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of indexable tool concepts and tooling systems from concept to launch.
• Set and execute market- and technology-driven roadmaps with sustainability.
• Build partnerships within Sandvik and with external research ecosystems.
• Develop leaders and guide organizational change; join the new R&D leadership team.
