Job summary

Sandvik Coromant is seeking a senior R&D leader to guide the development of our world-leading indexable tools, solid round tools, tooling systems and cutting tool grades. The location will be at one of our sites in Sweden (Gimo, Sandviken or Stockholm).

You will drive a transformation toward a more customer-oriented, digitally enhanced and faster-execution organization, leading leaders and technical teams across sites and international networks.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in industrial R&D or engineering.
• Strategic, inclusive and business-minded leadership.
• Proven ability to drive complex product portfolios and organizational change.
• Fluency in English; Swedish language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of indexable tool concepts, solid round tools and tooling systems from concept to launch readiness.
• Set and execute a market- and technology-driven strategy with sustainability embedded.
• Build partnerships and strengthen collaboration within Sandvik and with external research ecosystems.
• Lead and develop leaders and technical teams, ensure future capabilities and succession, and guide organizational change.
