Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Have at least 2 years hands-on software engineering experience.
• Have at least 5 years hands-on QA processes, testing methodologies, and QA tooling.
• Demonstrate knowledge of modern product development principles (DevOps, automation, blue-green deployments).
• Experience building test automation frameworks and using them with cross-functional product teams.
• Able to coach product teams, testers and developers on test automation and quality-first practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to work across teams; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop QA test plans and define acceptance criteria for built and purchased software.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead QA activities to ensure testing is delivered on time.
• Coach and mentor product teams on QA frameworks and best practices.
• Drive clarity, consistency, and quality in requirements across product and platform teams.
• Champion test data creation, mocking, and test automation balancing cost and value.
• Provide coaching to engineering and platform communities to strengthen quality practices.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to ensure features include quality assurance in delivery.
• Support decoupled work and interface-level testing across teams.
• Act as SME on performance, penetration, and high-availability testing when needed.
• Support managers in follow-ups and quality discussions with partners.
