Nordic Investin Group Aktiebolag is partnering with a complex programme in Sweden to recruit a QA and Test Lead who will shape the overall test strategy and ensure critical user journeys are verified from component to business acceptance.
You will own test planning, coordinate environments and dependencies, and lead defect triage while driving evidence-based decisions in a fast-moving delivery environment. The role combines hands-on testing with senior leadership responsibilities.
One of Nordic Investin’s partner companies is looking for a QA and Test Lead, with Nordic Investin leading the recruitment process. You can create a quality strategy that teams understand, own and use when delivery pressure rises.
The partner is delivering a complex platform change across several systems and suppliers. You will lead test planning, coordinate evidence and make sure critical user journeys are verified from component level through business acceptance.
The team works across disciplines and expects quality to be shaped throughout discovery and delivery. You will have space to challenge assumptions, make evidence visible and improve how decisions are made.
You will join multidisciplinary delivery rather than operate as a final approval step. The partner expects early questions, rapid feedback and clear evidence about what users and systems need. You will help teams decide what to test, measure or prototype before committing to an expensive direction.
As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. The role still includes hands on delivery; seniority here means broader judgement, not distance from the work.
Define the overall test strategy and risk based scope.
Connect requirements and use cases with verifiable test coverage.
Coordinate environments, data, teams and external dependencies.
Lead defect triage and readiness reporting.
Guide automation priorities and non functional testing.
Communicate quality risk clearly to project and business leadership.
Extensive test leadership in complex technology programmes.
Strong requirements, integration and acceptance testing experience.
Ability to plan across several teams and release stages.
Evidence based reporting and defect management.
Understanding of test automation and modern delivery methods.
Professional English; Swedish may be required for public partners.
Procurement or implementation of a major business system.
Performance, security or resilience test coordination.
Experience in healthcare, government or another regulated domain.
You may come from hands on testing, business analysis or programme quality management. The partner needs someone who can discuss detail with engineers and provide a concise risk view to decision makers.
This role gives you a central position in a consequential change programme. You will shape how quality is demonstrated and help the organisation make release decisions based on evidence rather than optimism.
The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.
During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
