## Purchasing Master Data SpecialistApplyremote type: Hybridlocations: SE - Helsingborgtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 21338We are looking for a **Master Data Specialist** to join us at **JBT Marel** in **Helsingborg, Sweden**.**Role Purpose**The **Master Data Specialist** is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance of enterprise master data within core ERP systems. The role plays a critical part in supporting business operations, trade compliance, and decision-making by managing high-quality master data related to products, customers, suppliers, pricing, and logistics. Acting as a key interface between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and global teams, the Master Data Specialist ensures adherence to data governance standards, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement objectives.**Key Responsibilities****1. Master Data Governance & Data Quality*** Own and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of product, customer, supplier, pricing, and logistics master data in ERP systems.* Execute master data creation, maintenance, cleansing, and mass updates in line with defined governance frameworks, SOPs, and approval workflows.* Validate data received from suppliers and internal functions to ensure correctness, consistency, and compliance before system updates.* Support regular data audits to identify discrepancies, gaps, and risks, and drive corrective actions.**2. Product & Item Master Data Management*** Maintain detailed product and item master attributes such as material classification, item type (purchased, manufactured, warehouse, spare parts), weights, and pricing.* Ensure technical product properties are correctly understood, captured, and reflected in ERP.* Support new article introduction and lifecycle changes by coordinating data collection from relevant stakeholders.**3. Trade Compliance & Customs Data*** Ensure correct maintenance of HS codes, country of origin (COO), and other customs-related data in compliance with applicable regulations.* Support compliance with Swedish Customs, US Customs and Border Protection, and other international trade regulations as applicable.* Contribute to the transition from top-level to item-level HS codes by supporting process design, documentation, and implementation.* Ensure ERP master data enables compliant customs declarations and logistics flows.**4. Regulatory Documentation & Audit Readiness*** Coordinate the collection, validation, and maintenance of supplier compliance documentation, including trade-related regulatory requirements.* Maintain accurate, complete, and auditable records to support internal reviews, audits, and customs inquiries.* Ensure master data and documentation are readily available and aligned with regulatory and business needs.**5. Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration*** Act as a key point of contact for suppliers regarding master data and compliance requirements.* Liaise with sourcing, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, finance, and compliance teams to resolve master data issues.* Support suppliers through structured communication, guidance, and training to improve data quality and response times.* Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure alignment with standards, regulations, and business processes.**6. Process Improvement & Continuous Development*** Identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and risks in master data and compliance processes.* Proactively propose and drive improvements related to accuracy, standardization, efficiency, and compliance.* Review, update, and develop SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.* Participate in master data–related projects, system enhancements, and process changes.**7.
