Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Automation & Electrical Engineer based in Helsingborg, Sweden, to join the PF Electrical and automation team. You will configure orders for new sales, adapt orders with customer-specific solutions, and support installation while collaborating with the innovation team.

The role requires hands-on analytical work, independence, and teamwork in a shifting environment, with responsibilities spanning on-site and remote support.

Qualifications

• A degree within automation (e.g. YH-education).

• Fluency in English and Swedish preferred; other languages a plus.

Job description

Are you a fast learner who enjoys working with different systems? Do you like an international environment where you can work with colleagues from different parts of the world?

As our Automation & Electrical Engineer at JBT Marel, you will be based in our PF Electrical and automation team in Helsingborg, Sweden.

Your job will vary between configuring orders for new sales, adapting orders with customer unique solutions, support installation and work closely with our innovation team. The projects are installed by our installation engineers with your remote support and sometimes with our support on site.

We work mainly in EPLAN for electrical design and Siemens TIA for PLC & HMI programming. Some projects with demand from customers are designed in studio5000 and Allen Bradley.

As our new team member, we would like you to be analytical, hands-on, an independent worker, with high integrity.

Aside from these personal skills, we need you to have:

• A degree within automation (ie from a YH-education/ Yrkeshögskola).
• Experience in PLC & HMI programming.
• Since you will have colleagues worldwide, fluency in English and Swedish would be great and any other language skills a “nice to have”.

A bonus would be if you have a couple of years’ experience working with automation but remember that it’s a merit and not a requirement, so don’t let this stop you from applying.

If you like international travel of approximately 30 days a year, this position will suit you.
