Job summary

JBT Marel in Helsingborg seeks an Automation & Electrical Engineer to design and program electrical upgrades for customers’ existing equipment. Projects range from new control systems to adding minor functions, with remote support during installation by service engineers.

The role requires PLC & HMI programming experience, a degree in automation, and fluency in English; Swedish is a bonus. International team and travel opportunities are part of the role.

Qualifications

• A degree within automation (YH-education / Yrkeshögskola).
• Experience in PLC & HMI programming.
• Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are a plus.
• Additional language skills are a merit.
• A few years of experience in electrical design and automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and programming of electrical upgrades for customers' existing equipment.
• Work on control panels and PLC/HMI projects.
• Provide remote support during installation by service engineers.
• Utilize EPLAN for electrical design and Siemens TIA/STEP 7 programming.
• Travel up to ~20 days per year.

Your job will be to design and programming of projects for electrical upgrades of our customers' existing equipment. The projects are installed by our service engineers with your remote support, and they vary from completely new control systems (control panels) to just adding a minor function. We work mainly in EPLAN for electrical design and Siemens TIA & some Step 7 for PLC & HMI programming.What are we looking for ...A driven and flexible person, who loves working as part of a team and gets energized by working in a multi-project environment; if this is you, we believe that you will enjoy working at JBT as our Automation & Electrical Engineer.
