Job summary

Scanjet in Sjöbo, Sweden, seeks an Development Technician to assemble and verify prototypes, conduct certification testing, and ensure project schedules are met. You will manufacture prototypes and parts for new products, test and document results, and maintain the development department’s machinery and fixtures.

The role requires solid machining knowledge, technical versatility, and the ability to plan and execute work with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with machining and prototype testing.
• Broad technical knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Experience in testing prototypes and documenting results.
• Ability to plan and structure work.
• Proficient with required computer skills.
• Forklift license and overhead crane training.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Driver's license – B.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and verify prototypes, conduct certification testing, and report progress to the Design Manager.
• Manufacture prototypes and parts for new products.
• Test and document results related to product function testing.
• Maintain development department’s machinery, equipment, and fixtures.
