Scanjet in Sjöbo, Sweden invites an Development Technician to join our R&D team. You will assemble and verify prototypes and perform certification testing, reporting progress to the Design Manager.

We seek practical technicians with machining skills, broad technical knowledge, and the ability to plan work and meet deadlines. English proficiency and a valid B class license are required.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of machining.
• Broad technical knowledge and a track record of continuous learning.
• Experience of testing, especially of prototypes.
• Ability to plan and structure work.
• Required computer skills.
• Forklift license and overhead crane training.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Driver's license – B.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture prototypes and parts for new products.
• Test and document results related to product function testing.
• Manufacture and maintain the development department's machinery, equipment and fixtures.
