Job summary

Scanjet Marine & System AB, part of the Alfa Laval Group, seeks a Development Technician for its R&D team in Sjöbo, Sweden. You will assemble and verify prototypes, conduct certification testing, and ensure development schedules are met and reported to the Design Manager.

The role requires solid machining skills, a broad technical background, and experience with prototype testing, planning, and documentation. Travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Machining.
• Broad technical knowledge and a track record of continuous learning.
• Experience testing prototypes and documenting results.
• Ability to plan and structure your work to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in computer use and basic software.
• Forklift license and overhead crane training.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Driver's license - B.

Responsibilities

• As Development Technician you will assemble and verify prototypes and perform certification testing.
• You will ensure schedules and development goals are followed and reported to the Design Manager.
• Manufacture prototypes and parts for new products and test/document results related to function.
