You will manage the full project lifecycle—from defining scope and translating objectives into a structured delivery plan to execution, handover and adoption—while balancing timelines, budgets, risks and governance.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in project management, technology consulting, business transformation, or a closely related field.
• A strong track record of leading software implementations or other technology-enabled transformation projects.
• Experience managing projects from initiation and planning through delivery, adoption, and handover.
• Strong capabilities in stakeholder management, governance, risk management, budgeting, and resource coordination.
• The ability to align business and technical teams around shared objectives and priorities.
• An understanding of how new technology affects processes, roles, and ways of working.
• Curiosity about technology and a willingness to learn enough about new solutions to engage confidently with technical teams.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to make complex topics understandable to different audiences.
• A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach combined with strong self-leadership.
• Work proficiency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken

Who are we looking for?

As we continue to shape the future of digital business, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can successfully lead complex technology and business transformation initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced project management professional with at least five years of relevant experience and a proven track record of delivering technology-related projects. You may have led software implementations, introduced new digital solutions, or managed broader business transformations in which technology has changed processes, ways of working, or organisational responsibilities.

As a Project Manager at Sofigate, you will work with a variety of customers and assignments. You will take responsibility for the entire project lifecycle—from defining scope and translating business objectives into a structured delivery plan to execution, follow-up, and successful handover. You will manage timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, resources, and governance while ensuring that the project delivers measurable business value.

A central part of your role will be bringing together business and technical stakeholders. You understand that successful technology projects are not only about implementing a solution, but also about preparing the organisation, developing new ways of working, and enabling people to adopt the change. You are comfortable navigating complex organisations and creating alignment across different functions, teams, and levels of seniority.

You do not need expertise in any specific platform or tool. However, you are genuinely interested in technology and motivated to learn the fundamentals of the solutions involved in your projects. This enables you to work credibly with architects, developers, and other technical specialists, ask the right questions, understand key dependencies, and translate technical topics into implications for the business.

You are comfortable working with modern delivery methodologies and structured project governance. You know how to adapt your approach to the situation, whether the project follows an agile, gate-based, or hybrid delivery model. You provide clarity and direction while remaining pragmatic and responsive when circumstances change.

To succeed in this role, you bring:
