Astek Sweden is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic cross-functional initiative spanning IT development, process improvement and organizational change. You will work with a team of about 40 professionals dedicated to operational excellence and enterprise system optimization.

The role emphasizes strong stakeholder management, change leadership, and the ability to drive digital transformation across functions and hierarchical levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional business development and digitalization initiatives within the Proactive Obsolescence Management domain.
• Conduct feasibility studies with stakeholders from affected business areas and synthesize findings into clear recommendations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans for execution with defined milestones, resources, and dependencies.
• Create detailed requirements specifications for IT tool development in collaboration with technical teams.
• Actively drive change management throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring organizational adoption.
• Report progress, risks, and decisions to project sponsor, steering committee, PMO, and executive leadership.
• Support and monitor implementation in the business with the project sponsor.

You will work within a team of approximately 40 professionals and consultants dedicated to operational excellence, lean methodologies, process governance and enterprise system optimization.

Qualifications

• Expertise in IT project management and process development initiatives
• Ability to drive change management in complex organizational structures
• Facilitation and workshop leadership skills with ability to synthesize and present results pedagogically
• Fluent in both English and Swedish (written and spoken) with strong presentation capabilities
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to complex business challenges
• Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and hierarchical levels
• Stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

Meritorious

• Specialized knowledge of obsolescence management, supply chain risk, and lifecycle planning
• Experience with enterprise business systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, and Salesforce (SFDC)
• Background in digital transformation projects within manufacturing or engineering environments
• Knowledge of lean project management and continuous improvement methodologies
• Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with governance frameworks and PMO best practices

Other

• Full onsite presence expected
• Travel within Sweden and Europe as project demands
• Some of our clients require you to undergo and be approved according to current security regulations
