Job summary

Alstom in Stockholm seeks a Program Manager to lead the overall Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) for development programs. You will manage engineering resources and provide leadership to cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and safe, compliant performance.

You will drive project execution, governance, and continuous improvement while coaching engineers and coordinating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Senior experience in Systems Engineering, Product Engineering or Project/Program Management within railway, digital, automotive, aerospace or similar industries.
• Experience managing project baselines, schedules, budgets and risks.
• Knowledge of full product development lifecycle and engineering processes.
• Experience leading functional or cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.
• Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams in a complex, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall QCD performance of the development program and ensure targets for quality, budget, planning and delivery.
• Manage allocated engineering resources and provide leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Drive project execution, delivery and continuous improvement while coaching engineers.
• Coordinate work packages, capacity planning, risk analysis and mitigation plans.
• Ensure governance through portfolio program reviews and Gate/Design/Peer reviews.
• Lead the team by setting vision, communicating clearly and driving performance.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and salary reviews, and manage team development.
