Job summary

Alstom in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the overall QCD performance of development programs and drive delivery, planning, and continuous improvement. You will manage engineering resources and provide leadership to cross-functional teams in a complex, multicultural environment.

You will coordinate governance, manage risks and budgets, and ensure successful delivery of high-stakes projects across railway and digital mobility domains.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Senior experience in Systems Engineering, Product Engineering or Project/Program Management within railway, digital, automotive or similar industries.
• Experience managing project baselines, schedules, budgets and risks.
• Knowledge of full product development lifecycle and engineering processes.
• Experience leading functional or cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.
• Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams in a complex, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) performance of the development program; ensure targets are met.
• Manage allocated engineering resources and provide leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Drive project execution, delivery, and continuous improvement; coach and support engineers.
• Plan for new R&D features, maintain roadmaps, and align with budgets.
• Ensure governance through portfolio program reviews and gate/review decisions.
• Address safety, cybersecurity, availability, and other critical issues.
