Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Västerås is seeking a Transport and Logistics Planner to coordinate shipments worldwide, book shipments, prepare documents and ensure on-time delivery. You will collaborate with project managers, suppliers and forwarders in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in transport, logistics or shipping.
• Strong communication and networking skills with analytical problem-solving ability.
• Good administration skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of goods from packing to site delivery, planning, booking and monitoring.
• Prepare packing, marking and shipping documents per project requirements and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal project managers, suppliers, forwarders and customers for smooth shipping.
• Manage project timelines and transportation budgets.
• Represent Logistics in project teams and keep processes and regulations up to date.
• Establish best practices and contribute to ongoing team initiatives.
