Job summary

Getinge Sterilization AB in Getinge, Sweden, seeks an experienced production leader to drive manufacturing operations and deliver high-quality products on time. You will oversee production activities, optimize processes, and manage logistics to ensure cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You will report to site management and collaborate with R&D, Quality, Sales and Supply Chain, fostering safety and continuous improvement. Swedish and English fluency required.

About this opportunity

At Getinge Sterilization AB, you will play a key role in leading and developing our production organization. You are responsible for ensuring a safe workplace, delivering operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing environment. You will lead production activities in alignment with our strategy while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead, develop, and optimize production operations including logistics to ensure the right product is delivered at the right time, with the right quality and cost performance, while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, develop, and follow up production activities in line with company strategy and objectives.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to ensure cost-efficient production and long‑term competitiveness.
• Ensure production department and logistics together deliver the right product, at the right time, quality, and cost with the customer in focus.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the business.
• Promote a safe workplace and ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, quality, and internal requirements.

This position is based in Getinge and requires close collaboration with multiple functions across the organization, such as R&D, Quality, Sales and Supply Chain. Presence on‑site is an important part of the role due to the operational nature of the position. You are a part of the site management team and report to Managing Director for Getinge Sterilization.

You will bring

• Technical education at minimum upper secondary level or equivalent experience within manufacturing industry.
• Extensive experience from a manufacturing environment and at least five years in a similar leadership role.
• Experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain
• Proven leadership and communication skills with a modern leadership approach together with strong management skills.
• Strong experience in DTO Design to order production operations.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working in SAP systems
• Good understanding of health & safety, environmental management, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
