Job summary

Getinge is seeking an Innovation Project Leader to independently lead innovation projects from opportunity identification through concept development, evaluation, and recommendation. You will work across Strategy, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external partners to shape future value for our customers and Getinge.

The role requires strong leadership of complex initiatives, excellent stakeholder management, and a proactive, results-driven mindset to turn ideas into action while traveling

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience leading complex projects, innovation initiatives, business development activities, or similar work.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience influencing and driving outcomes across functions without formal authority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience using AI tools, AI agents, and low‑code/no‑code platforms is highly valued.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

About this opportunity

The Getinge Life Science Innovation Team is focused on identifying and exploring future opportunities for the biopharma and life science industry. Working at the intersection of customer needs, market trends, and emerging technologies, we evaluate opportunities that have the potential to create future value for both our customers and Getinge.

Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will engage colleagues across Strategy, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external partners to explore and develop new opportunities for our business.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to independently lead innovation projects from opportunity identification through concept development, evaluation, and recommendation. Many initiatives begin with limited information and no predefined answer, requiring the ability to create structure, build alignment, and drive progress.

What you will do

This position is based at one of Getinge's offices in Sweden and includes approximately 20% international travel annually.

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:

• A university degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience leading complex projects, innovation initiatives, business development activities, or similar work.
• The ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience influencing and driving outcomes across functions without formal authority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience using AI tools, AI agents, and low‑code/no‑code platforms is highly valued.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
