Job summary

Velory AB is hiring for a Data & Operations role in Stockholm, focusing on turning data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with Sales, Product and Finance to automate reporting, drive operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decisions through AI and automation tools.

You will build dashboards, develop models, and improve processes, all while championing AI-driven efficiencies across teams in a fast-growing European scale-up.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis and software development experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data reporting and analysis.
• Experience with TypeScript and AI tooling (LLMs, agents, automation).
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate reporting to improve visibility into business performance.
• Analyse business processes and customer interactions to identify trends and improve outcomes.
• Develop models based on customer behaviour to support data-driven decisions.
• Champion AI-driven efficiencies by leveraging LLMs and coding agents.

About the role

You’ll join our Data & Operations team, working closely with Sales, Product and Finance to turn data into actionable insights, streamline processes and drive operational efficiency through automation and AI.

You will

• Build and automate reporting to improve visibility into business performance.

• Analyse business processes and customer interactions to identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop models based on customer behaviour to support data-driven decision-making.

• Champion AI-driven efficiencies by helping teams leverage LLMs, coding agents and automation tools effectively.

• Drive integrations, implement app improvements and support cross-functional enhancement projects.

• Build dashboards, write data queries and improve applications to enable better data tracking and reporting.

Required skills and experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and software development.

• Proficiency in SQL, including writing queries, and Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, modern coding agents and related tooling.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

• A proactive, self-driven mindset and eagerness to learn, experiment and continuously improve.
