Job description

About the role

Working as a Producer at Tarsier, you will hold a vital leadership position within the studio, playing a core role in shaping both our games and our culture. In this role, your focus is delivering the product while fostering a healthy, motivated, and aligned team. Following in the footsteps of the award-winning Little Nightmares and our most recent release REANIMAL, you will be a driving factor in an exciting journey to take the next steps for our games and the studio.

Your main responsibility is to ship a great product in the best way possible that fits Tarsier, our games and our people. As a Producer, you will collaborate across the board with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for product deliveries, budget, timeline, and staffing, while working closely with creative leadership to keep the team unified under a shared vision.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Product & Team Delivery: Balancing game focus with people focus, ensuring we deliver a high-quality product while evolving the team.
  • Driving Change: Part of leading the studio's transition in reshaping project methodologies, tailoring our approaches, processes, and organizational structures to who we are and the games we make.
  • Decision-Making: Strategic and tactical decision-making regarding product, timelines, project scope, risk management and resource allocation, and communicating them clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Acting as a central pillar of communication, collaborating seamlessly with the CEO, Creative Director, discipline directors and leads, the broader development team, and our external publisher.
  • Leadership & People Management: Nurturing team development, mentoring leadership within the team, and proactively addressing issues with collaborative solutions.
What we offer

At Tarsier, it’s the games that drive us. Quality above all else. Interesting ideas executed to perfection. We want people to be proud of the work they do here, and to finish each project feeling as though they’ve evolved their abilities to the next level.

Working with us, you would join a close-knit team that’s passionate about the games we make, and works to achieve the high standard we hold ourselves to through equal measures ambition, creativity, and the caring support we provide each other with throughout the process.

At Tarsier we believe in a supportive and secure environment that creates the foundational conditions for our teams and individuals to grow and be part of making great Tarsier games.

Our benefit package includes:

  • Time & Balance: 30 days of vacation and flexible working hours
  • Health & Vitality: Wellness allowance (for gym, bouldering, massage, etc.) and our "Healthier Half Hour": 30 minutes of your workday dedicated entirely to your physical and mental well-being.
  • Future & Security: Comprehensive pension plan, occupational injury insurance, life insurance, and sickness insurance (including preventive care like physiotherapy and counseling).
  • Peace of Mind: Sick pay on qualifying days and relocation support if you're moving to Sweden to join us.

We believe that you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in the games industry, with a deep understanding of unique game development pipelines, challenges, and tactics.
  • A proven track record of shipping games, having been part of at least 1-2 full game development lifecycles from conception to release.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a history of building, motivating, and uniting strong, successful development teams.
  • Strong collaborative alignment with creative leadership, with the ability to balance production constraints with creative vision.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with deep insight into game development and a knack for identifying and addressing issues early.
  • Growth mindset with an eagerness to learn and develop
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

It’s a bonus if you also have:

  • Direct experience driving organizational change processes or reshaping production methodologies within a studio environment.
