NES Fircroft is seeking a Planning & Scheduling Lead for a major industrial project on-site in Sweden. The role focuses on driving planning excellence, schedule assurance, and cross-functional coordination with EPCM partners and contractors.

You will act as the Owner's representative for planning and scheduling within the Central Planning Team, ensuring integrated, realistic schedules aligned with project objectives and delivery performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning and scheduling within large-scale industrial, infrastructure, energy, or construction projects.
  • Strong experience managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in complex environments.
  • Understanding of schedule risk analysis and Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) processes.
  • Experience reviewing and challenging contractor and EPCM schedules.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and clear reports.

  • Review and challenge EPCM and contractor schedules to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Integrate schedules from contractors, EPCM partners, and stakeholders into a single aligned plan.
  • Monitor progress, perform schedule analysis, and provide forecasting.
  • Identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities, supporting mitigation and recovery planning.
  • Participate in site reviews, coordination meetings, and planning workshops with project stakeholders.
  • Produce weekly and monthly schedule reports to support project controls and decision-making.

Planning & Scheduling Lead
What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Planning & Scheduling Lead to join a Central Planning Team. This is a senior-level position reporting into the Planning Leadership Team within the Project Delivery function.

The team is responsible for driving planning excellence, schedule assurance, and project-wide coordination across a major industrial construction project.

As the Planning & Scheduling Lead, you will act as the Owner's representative for planning and scheduling within your assigned project area. You will work closely with Construction, Engineering, Commissioning, EPCM partners, and contractors to ensure schedules are realistic, integrated, and aligned with project objectives.

This is a site-based role with a strong focus on schedule assurance, progress validation, forecasting, and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the planning and scheduling focal point for an assigned project area.
  • Review and challenge EPCM and contractor schedules to ensure quality, logic integrity, and compliance with project standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the assigned area.
  • Integrate schedules from contractors, EPCM partners, and stakeholders into a single aligned plan.
  • Monitor progress, perform schedule analysis, and provide forecasting based on actual site conditions.
  • Identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities, supporting mitigation and recovery planning.
  • Participate in site reviews, coordination meetings, and planning workshops with project stakeholders.
  • Produce weekly and monthly schedule reports to support project controls and management decision-making.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders, disciplines, and delivery areas.
  • Ability to work effectively in a site-based, fast-paced construction environment.
