Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support the delivery of a major industrial transformation programme in Northern Sweden. This flagship project forms part of one of Europe's most significant sustainability and energy transition initiatives, involving the development of large-scale industrial facilities and associated infrastructure. Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will play a key role in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities to ensure successful delivery against critical milestones.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment with key project milestones and deliverables.
- Produce and manage both short-term and long-term schedules in line with project requirements and forecasted activities.
- Coordinate with project teams to prioritise activities based on resource availability, project criticality, and operational requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, construction, procurement, and project management teams to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment across all functions.
- Monitor project progress and schedule performance, proactively identifying potential delays, constraints, or risks.
- Prepare and present schedule reports, progress updates, and forecasting information to key stakeholders.
- Support the identification and resolution of scheduling conflicts to minimise disruption to project delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including planning processes, scheduling methodologies, and system enhancements.
- Ensure scheduling activities are completed in accordance with project procedures, contractual requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project scheduling, planning, or resource coordination within a complex project environment.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and working effectively within fast‑paced project teams.
- Strong understanding of planning methodologies, forecasting, resource loading, and schedule management principles.
- Ability to make informed, data‑driven decisions when assessing schedule impacts and recovery strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with project planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Preferred Experience
- Background in industries such as construction, engineering, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or other project‑driven sectors.
- Experience working on large‑scale industrial or capital projects.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and project controls best practices is advantageous.
