Job summary

Storytel, a leading audiobook and e‑book streaming platform, seeks a People Tech & Admin Specialist to join the People team in Sweden. You will bridge people processes and technology, owning HR systems, payroll, and pension administration while driving automation and efficiency across the organization.

In this role you’ll provide first‑line employee and manager support, help shape annual salary reviews and gender pay processes, and explore AI tools to enhance our people practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar People Tech, HR Admin, or HRIS role.
• Strong passion for technology, digitalization, and AI.
• Experience with People systems, payroll, process mapping, and automation.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.
• Structured and highly organized administration skills.

• Take ownership of our HR systems, ensuring they are accurate, efficient, and user-friendly.
• Automate and streamline People processes and workflows to create a seamless employee experience.
• Leverage AI tools and explore innovative ways to integrate AI into our daily People practices.
• Provide first-line employee and manager support, with a focus on Payroll, HR systems, policies, and everyday processes.
• Process and administer employee payroll and benefits, including insurance, pension plans, and other benefits.
• Manage People administration, ensuring high data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Be a natural part of the people team working with the annual processes for salary review, variable pay and gender pay.

About the Role

In this role, you will be driving our HR technology and operational efficiency. You will bridge the gap between People processes and tech, continuously finding ways to automate, improve, and streamline the way we work. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact delivering employee support while also managing our payroll in the nordics and pension administration, and other administrative tasks.

We believe that you have:

• 5+ of professional experience in a similar People Tech, HR Admin, or HRIS-focused role preferably at a fast-paced software/Tech company




• A strong passion for technology and digitalization, with a natural curiosity for new tech trends and AI




• Experience working with People systems, payroll, process mapping, and workflow automation




• Fluency in Swedish and English




• You have a passion for structure and have strong administration skills.
