Job summary

Green SM, a growing EV and mobility solutions provider expanding into Europe, seeks a Payroll & HR Administration Specialist in Sweden to build payroll and HR processes with external payroll support. You will ensure accurate payroll for Swedish employees and manage related HR admin tasks.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Swedish payroll experience, knowledge of AGI and pension administration, and strong Excel and system skills, with fluent Swedish and good English.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Swedish payroll processes.
• Experience interfacing with an external payroll provider.
• Solid knowledge of Swedish payroll legislation and employment administration.
• Familiarity with AGI, employer contributions and Swedish tax accounts.
• Experience with Collectum, Fora or similar pension administration.
• Understanding of collective bargaining agreements related to payroll.
• Excellent Excel and systems skills.
• Fluent Swedish and good English.
• The right to work in Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly payroll process in collaboration with the external provider.
• Collect, validate, and submit payroll inputs accurately.
• Review results and coordinate necessary corrections.
• Handle payroll administration for hires, salary changes, bonuses, benefits, and leaves.
• Coordinate payroll-related reporting and payments.
• Ensure compliance with Swedish payroll regulations and tax reporting.
• Administer occupational pensions and employee insurance (Collectum, Fora or similar).
• Serve as main liaison with payroll, pension providers, insurers and authorities.
• Help scale payroll and HR admin processes as the company grows.

Are you an experienced payroll professional who enjoys taking ownership, creating structure and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes?

We're looking for a Payroll & HR Administration Specialist to join our growing Swedish team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building payroll and HR administration processes from the ground up while supporting our expansion in Europe.

You'll work closely with HR, Finance and our external payroll provider to ensure accurate and compliant payroll administration for our employees in Sweden.

What you'll do

You'll take ownership of the internal payroll process, including:

• Managing the monthly payroll process together with our external payroll provider
• Collecting, validating and submitting payroll input
• Reviewing payroll results and coordinating corrections where needed
• Managing payroll administration related to new hires, salary changes, bonuses, benefits, vacation, sick leave and parental leave
• Coordinating payroll-related reporting and payments
• Ensuring compliance with Swedish payroll regulations, including AGI, employer contributions and tax reporting
• Administering occupational pensions and employee insurance (Collectum, Fora or similar)
• Acting as the main point of contact for payroll providers, pension providers, insurance companies and authorities
• Supporting the development of scalable payroll and HR administration processes as we continue to grow

We're looking for someone who has

• Several years of hands-on experience with Swedish payroll
• Experience working with an external payroll provider
• Strong knowledge of Swedish payroll legislation and employment administration
• Experience with AGI, employer contributions and the Swedish tax account
• Experience with Collectum, Fora or similar pension and insurance administration
• Good understanding of collective bargaining agreements and payroll-related employment legislation
• Excellent Excel and systems skills
• Fluent Swedish and good English
• The right to work in Sweden

It would be a bonus if you also have:

• Experience from an international organisation
• Experience supporting a newly established Swedish company
• Experience building payroll processes, controls and annual payroll calendars

• Experience working closely with both HR and Finance
• Experience supporting both white-collar and blue-collar employees
