Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company, located in Västerås, Sweden, is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join the EMEA Payroll Team. The successful candidate will manage payroll processes, perform audits, and ensure compliance with Swedish regulations. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely several days a week as needed.

Payroll Analyst – EMEA Payroll Team

Responsibilities

• Process payroll, complete audits, perform reconciliations, and handle all daily operational activities with our payroll provider.
• Analyze and validate payroll outputs such as gross‑to‑net reports, payslips, and time and attendance data.
• Ensure third‑party payments and reporting comply with all legal requirements.
• Maintain employee records.
• Prepare regular payroll reports and ad‑hoc reports.
• Document compliance procedures and processes.
• Manage reporting for employee pension and benefits contributions, including employer matching.
• Work with HR and Finance systems to maintain accurate payroll and pension records and ensure correct reporting to pension administrators.
• Resolve issues related to salaries, benefits, and pension accounts.

Additionally, you will help identify and improve gaps in payroll processes.

You will work from our office in Västerås, Sweden, with the possibility of working remotely a few days per week as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Swedish payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of Swedish payroll regulations and terminology.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Experience with external payroll providers.
• Knowledge of SAP and SuccessFactors.
• Experience with payroll audits and process improvement.
• Familiarity with multi‑country payroll environments (EMEA).
• Experience in high‑volume payroll or shared service environments.
